Our 14th Interviewee is Dave Hill , 1 of our Essex players and manager of United Wandering Rovers

1 - Firstly Dave , tell us a little about yourself . Name , age , where you live what you do ?
My name is Dave I'm 46 and live in Grays. I work for Ford as a component safety engineer and a student studying manufacturing engineering at UEL. (did I say work!!!!) I have my student union
card and get funny looks when I ask for student rates discounts etc.

2 - How do you come to know the organiser Cliff ?
Who is Cliff? the only Cliff I know is the dilapidated old git my misses wastes her money on

3 - When did you join this league and do you think you'll improve on last years performance ?
about 3 years ago when this weird bloke came up to me in a pub and asked if I was up for some fun on my PC. I thought he meant mucky pictures!!!!!!

4 - What's your Fav TV Programme?
most sport, but at this moment I find bad lads army compulsive viewing

5 - What footy team do you support ?
Man Utd................there is no other Prem team worth a mention I also follow Westham and Southend

6 - Re Q5 , why not West Ham or Tottenham or Arsenal or even Southend ?
see above,  used to follow Spurs until I saw George Best beat them single handed when I was about 9 or 10 the rest is history as they say

7 - What type of music do you like ?
Anything except manufactured pop, especially heavy metal-rock.
Best band ever -Queen - who I have seen about 5 times. The last album I got was Norah Jones

8 - What's your pet hate ?
Arsenal
Henry ford
weak fishing line
Sunday drivers
warm beer
Uni lecturers, I hate the bas****s
Finally people asking where I work then when I tell them they say "oh do you know so and so he works in such and such" when I say no they try so hard to describe them.

9 - If you were stuck alone on a desert island and a genie granted you 3 wished what would they be ?
Kylie, lager and chocolate. I'm not sure of the order

10 - You've just become Prime Minister , what would be your 1st policy ?
make it as hard to get into this country as it is to get into Australia

11 - If you were to describe yourself as a car what would you be & why ?
A porche with quite a few dents in it, and a knackered engine

12 -  What's your favourite past-time/s ?
Watching sport
fishing
listening to music

13 - You've just won £5 million on the lottery what's the 1st 3 things you'd buy ?
My own lake
a box at old Trafford
Oh and Tina a new Ka, it might even be a street Ka

14 -  If you were to emigrate , where would you go & why ?
Norfolk for the fishing            but is that really emigrating?

15 - What's your No.1 all time sporting moment ?
what a silly question to ask a red fan, the 91st and 92nd minute of the European cup 5 years ago
and the celebration that ensued

16 - If you could meet 1 person dead or alive who would it be ?
Freddie Mercury he threw some wild parties, and lived for the moment

17 - What's your favourite tipple ?
Real Ale. There was a beer festival in July and we went twice, I tried about twenty different beers.  It was almost heaven

18 - When you were younger , what did you want to be when you grew up ?
Rich enough and healthy enough to enjoy myself

19 - Favourite City ?
I don't like cities,  my favourite area is Norfolk, and they have a decent local brewery

20 - Favourite Book ?
I don't have a fave but I like reading autobiographies especially footballers
I loathe engineering text books
